Meet the Founder

Welcome to the TDS Early Learning website. It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself. My name is Tangela Sims. My team and I are here to support you and your child. I am a lifelong learner with thirty years of early childhood education experience. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Professional Management, and a Master of Science degree in Education. Both degrees are from Nova Southeastern University. I am certified to teach (Pre-K-3rd grade). When I am not building a portfolio of early educational learning experiences, I am spending time with my family of faith; which includes my husband of 27 years, my two beautiful daughters, my seven year old prince, and my adorable puppy, Colbe. My years of early childhood experience includes preschools, private, and public schools (Pre-k-5).

 

I am a firm believer in balance. I pride myself on keeping my classroom, and home running on all cylinders. However, like many of you my normal balancing act quickly became imbalanced due to COVID-19. Both my family, and school family experienced a shock that left us quickly putting resources and support systems in place; that yielded innovative results. One of those results is

I understand the need to have a strong support system while raising children in a world of uncertainties. My philosophy is simple: be a part of the village, provide support, resources, and care that will make a great impact on your child's learning and development. Implementing these necessary tools with intentionality and being present for the real super stars who put together the village, Parents!
